How to feed your puppy
Our puppies have been weaned onto Fromm Family Gold Puppy dry dog food. When you welcome your puppy into your home, it's essential to keep them on the same food for at least the first month. This allows your puppy to maintain dietary consistency during their transition into their new environment. If you wish to change your puppy's food, gradually introduce the new food to avoid upsetting their digestive system. We have purposefully chosen Fromm Family Gold Puppy dry kibble due to its lack of pea protein, legumes, wheat, soy, or corn. Once in your home, your puppy will be familiar with having two meals every day - one in the morning and the other in the evening. We typically prepare the food three days in advance.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup kibble (Fromm Family Gold Puppy dry dog food)
- 1 cup water
- Nupro 1 tbsp
- 1tbsp salmon oil (optional)
Method:
- Put kibble into container
- Add powered ingredients and salmon oil
- Mix ingredients dry
- Add water and store in the refrigerator overnight
Serve:
- Each serving will be 1/3 of a cup of the prepared mixture
Important Note:
As your puppy grows, it will be necessary to gradually increase their food portions. Be mindful not to overfeed, as symptoms such as excessive or loose bowel movements may indicate overfeeding. If these symptoms appear after increasing the portion size, reduce the meal quantity as it could indicate that your puppy is being overfed.
